I wanted to review this class just to warn all the public affairs majors, minors, and pre-majors out there. Do not take this class with Csapo unless you absolutely hate to! It is decently easy and I got an A without really studying or putting in much effort, but I learned absolutely nothing from the class itself. Csapo's lectures were confusing and disorganized, and so were her assignments, assessments, and pretty much everything else about the class.

She seems like a nice person, but this class was a hot mess. Completely disorganized, no structure, and I felt like I learned nothing beyond what I already knew from standard high school APUSH. Do not recommend!

Dr. Csapo was an amazing teacher! She was responsive to student needs, and she always did the most for the class despite everything she was going through in her personal life. She covered current events and really took input from previous classes. I would 10/10 take again, UCLA hire her back !

Prosfessor Csapo was the BEST! The other reviews seemed misleading, and maybe it was different last year, but her class was SO fun and she is genuinely one of the sweetest professors I have ever met. I learned a lot from her class and did not feel it was a difficult course. I only have good things to say about this class so PLEASE take it with Professor Csapo!
