Best instructors for Italian 1-6.

So far I have had her for Italian 1 and 2 and i can honestly tell you that she is great. I am now fluent enough to hold a conversation in Italian. Donatella is a great professor that some students tend to not like because she challenges one to work hard to learn the language. From my experiences I can say that Donatella is one of the best Italian professors on campus. She is also involved in the Italian club and is always motivating her students to join the club. Donatella is a great woman and an amazing professor whose main goal is to see her students succeed. Take her if you have the chance, but also if you are serious about learning Italian. The workload is ok, just make sure you do it and don't slack off.

Donatella is not a very good TA for Italian 3, if you can choose a different TA, I would highly advise it. Not hard to get an A, but the class is painful. Donatella is the most unorganized teacher I have ever had. She would pair us into groups, and basically say "Go." We would turn to each other and shrug because no one knew what we were supposed to be working on.

Everyone was so done with Donatella by the end of the quarter, and one of my classmates was in tears because of frustration with the class. You will not get very good Italian practice, either, because Donatella just rambles on for the majority of the hour. Once again, sign up for a different TA!!
