Gregory is definitely a unique individual with no structure in her teaching style. You will walk into class every single day wishing that maybe, just maybe the course will take an unsuspected turn for the better. It doesn't. It's pretty much a waste of time that you can spend on other homework or studying or even taking a nap. It's ridiculously boring and all students do is keep pulling her on to the unnecessary conversations that take place everyday in class. Go to her office hours, kiss up, and i'm sure you'll end up with a nifty grade. But other than that, be prepared to be ultimately bored out of your mind for the next 10 weeks. :]

She is pretty intimidating at first which makes you want to drop the class immediately. She has a very different style of lecturing that is very slow, dramatic, and tends to digress a lot. If you stick with her though, you'll realize that she's not as bad as she seems - kind of cute and funny actually. Especially with this class where she only is there for you to learn, she will answer any of your questions about actual careers that are available to Comm majors. She seems to have connections everywhere and knows just about everyone or at least can name almost every noteable person in the field. This class helped me a TON to know more real-life knowledge about careers as a TV and movie producer, agent, writer, and manager. Also, since she knows a lot of people, she has a lot of hookups to internships in any field that you can want. Take the class and actually show up because it's worth your while!
