Professor Henary is a really great guy. It is kind of difficult to get used to his accent in the beginning, but he really is there to teach you. He gives handouts for every lecture so you can follow what he is saying/writing. I found the handouts very useful, if you studied those you were prepared for the tests. You are allowed a cheat sheet, one 8.5 by 11 piece of paper front and back, for the midterm and the final. As long as you know the stuff he teaches in class and you can put all of it on the cheat sheet, you will do fine. I suggest putting sample problems on the cheat sheet, I included problems from class, and the test problems were very similar to those I included. It is not hard to get a good grade in his class. He is a very approachable and caring guy. Office hours are good, if I did not understand a concept he would re-explain it to me until I did. If you have the option to take Henary for 14BL, do it! He's a genuinely good guy.
