As a professor, she's great and the class is a very interesting subject. This class, however, is not for those just starting out in MCDB, or in an upper division course. I highly recommend having at least a quarter or so experience under your belt. This class is highly geared towards experimental techniques and applying the knowledge learned towards further possibilities. Also, I learned that having previous knowledge in the subject area helps A LOT. Dr. Arispe is a big help and roots for her students to succeed, it certainly wasn't easy to though.
