It was an awesome experience. Professor Jiang's lecture is quite clear, interesting and helpful. The homework is well-designed, some of them challenging but definitely can improve your skills. The test is fair: she gave us practice tests and they help a lot. The best thing is that Professor Jiang has SUPER LONG OH EVERYDAY. You can ask her any questions from the textbooks, homework or midterms. I would definitely take other classes taught by her in the future!
Professor Jiang is an organized and engaging teacher. All lecture notes were provided after or before classes and outline of midterms would be given about a week before exams. With super long office hour, you can ask any questions from lecture, homework, and midterms. I would recommend Professor Jiang!
She is supper nice and patient even tho you ask her questions for so many times. She did care students so much. Go to her office if you have questions.
My first year couldn’t have started better with Prof Jiang. She is by far the nicest professor I’ve taken. She has the longest office hours of any professor I’ve known - at least 3 hours a day every day. She is willing to sit down with you and answer your questions, go over practice problems for exams, explain difficult concepts on the board, you name it. She is even an all around great person to talk to. I still keep in touch with her every now and then to this day. Thank you Prof Jiang!
Lilian is one of the nicest professors I have ever taken. She is really helpful and patient. Her lecture notes were clear and it was efficient to study/review based on notes. She did help a lot when I went to the OH. She would explain every concept in detail making sure you understanding.
Professor Jiang was by far the most caring professor I have had in all my years of UCLA. As someone who didn't do much of circuits or E and M in high school, I attended her OH to learn the material deeper and in her OH she would explain each and every concept and be extremely kind and patient. She had so many OH each week (15+), which showed how much she cared about her students and their learning. I came out of this class with a very positive view of the subject and felt like I had a good understanding of the material. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that needs to take this course. If you put in the time and really get help during OH, you will be on the path to succeed.
