Brozgal is amazing. By far one of the most passionate and personable teachers I've ever had. She is an incredible educator and honestly takes the time to get to know her students. I'll be taking as many classes with her as I can. She gives a lot of work, but it will all pay off! Take her!

Fall 2020 - If you have the opportunity to take this class, TAKE IT!!!! Or really anything Brozgal teaches. She is engaging, kind, and she cares deeply about her students. The course material helps you foster appreciation for French culture rather than prepare you for exams (there weren't any in this class). Overall just a very enjoyable way to spend my time. I feel like I got to work creatively which I've never done before at UCLA! 11/10 for Prof Brozgal

Winter 2017 - Professor Brozgal is my favorite professor I have ever had at UCLA. Not only did she do an excellent job of teaching the material, but her passion for both her students and the subject matter shone through in every single class meeting. She selected readings that were very interesting and engaging. Never before have a actually done all of the readings for a class and been excited to complete my homework! She fostered an environment that encouraged discussion and deep thinking, and used autobiographies to teach broader lessons of gender, race, religious, social, and political dynamics. Best class ever with the best professor ever! Four papers, I believe 5 pgs, 5 pgs, 8 pgs (your own autobiography), and 3 pgs.
