Lavelle genuinely cares about his students and offers a plethora of opportunities to get help outside of class. His lectures follow what he puts on the quizzes, midterm, and final. The structure of the class makes it very easy to pass and get a fair grade

I was one of those freshmen who took these bruinwalk reviews way too seriously and did everything in my power to get out of taking Lavelle's class and trying to get into Scerri's. I'm so glad my efforts weren't fruitful because I got an A+ in Lavelle's class whilst all my friends in Scerri's were terrified when they got their grades, as they were expecting much better grades than what they received. Needless to say, Lavelle's class requires a lot of effort, so if you aren't going to put the time into doing every homework problem, every past midterm, and every past final, chances of doing well in the class are slim. Put in the work and it will pay off. Definitely not "impossible" to get a good grade.
