Spring 2024 - Ok a couple thoughts that may be controversial: Primarily, Mynhier's class was not as bad as people in former reviews made it out to be. Honestly, it was just like any other intro micro class, and compared to the classes I've taken with even 3-4 star reviews, this was not nearly as difficult. The class did feel a little bit like a high school class (ppl would go up to the chalkboard/lecture the class, there were like 40 ppl total in lect), but I couldn't tell if it was silly and fun or frustrating. More ppl felt the latter and, honestly, I kinda get it bc sometimes we would just be watching people do problems the whole time. Lol I was a little, however, peeved at my final grade; I don't think it was a skill issue, maybe it was, but honestly they took excessive points off on Psets/small problems for unnecessary things. Psets were annoying to do but ultimately helpful practice. I felt like an expert at econ yet still got points off for, again, basic math errors. I took AP Micro/Macro in hs (got a 4 on both), so honestly I would say just stay on top of things. I overestimated how easy the class was and it ended up nipping me back.
