Professor Nam is great, honestly. He's totally willing to help if you're struggling, and his lectures are easy to understand. He doesn't use slides, just takes notes as he goes along, which I find more helpful anyways. Recordings and the notes are uploaded afterwards. Would totally take another class with Prof. Nam.

Different quarter but same story as the others. The two midterm averages were pretty high and the final average was really low but he did not curve. The homework assignments are super long and confusing because a lot of problems aren’t things we tried in lecture, but you should really try to do them all and get 100% on them if you want an A in the class, to pad your grade for the final. The professor’s lectures were decent but I wish he would go over harder problems in class. The first half of the class is super easy imo but I felt very lost in the second half.
