Fairly easy class, but I did not have good interactions with the professor. I felt like she was standoffish and checked out. With the exception of the midterm, all assignments were writing, including the final. The midterm was based on class readings. It was multiple choice on CCLE, but the options super subjective to interpretation. The plus is that you were able to work collaboratively. Overall, easy class with extra credit options. I just couldn't get on board with the professor, despite the other positive reviews.
Kind of a cool class if you like comic books. Assignments were graded pretty leniently and it should not be difficult to get an A even if you never paid attention in class like me. Midterm is open note and you can even collaborate on the discussion forum. Professor Markman was pretty cool too
Definitely recommend this class if you are looking for an easy upperdiv history class.
