I believe her PhD thesis was plaigarised, and have launched an investigation into the matter.

Aldo, Its arguably one of the most poorly-written theses i've encountered. If she ever critiques your writing, ask her to see her thesanf ,,,,,,f;

If the investigation reveals that her work is plagiarized, I'll have no choice but to contact the Daily Bruin to get initial exposure on the matter. The investigation committee will then share its finding with all relevant Comm + Psych academic circles. UCLA is simply too good to have a fraudulent professor.

Of course, the investigation is still in the early stages and (hopefully) it turns out that the the initial report of plagiarism was unfounded. Time shall tell!

Dr. Johnson is honestly one of my favorite teachers ever. I'm so surprised to read the review that she uses lectures to "brag" about her research. Instead, I see her as incredibly friendly, professional, and engaging. Exactly how I want to lecture when I graduate grad school. Btw she's smart AND pretty too! Which is a doubly wammy ( I think we got some jealousy on our hands).
Anyways, I'm graduating this quarter (and haven't YET finished the class) but I'm guessing that I'll get an A. The class is fair, just the right amount of difficulty, and honestly, Dr. Johnson is great to talk to outside of class. Been going to her office hours all the time and she's incredibly open.
There's 3 Tests, where one can be dropped. Also, 3 assignments that I think help you to be prepared for the real world. Dr. Johnson wants her students to learn and do well and I think it's exemplified through her teaching style and demeanor. If you try and do your best, you will do well.
Very glad to have met her in my last quarter of undergrad!

THE TA PRIANKA IS A BITCH. if you have her as a TA. Seriously run away. She is ridiculously strictly about case summaries which is supposed to be a free writing that reflect your application of the knowledge but she would take marks off for the smallest thing. Every time she would give a different reasons on why she took marks off without giving any clear instructions. She NEVER replies to emails and is so passive aggressive. The least understanding and unhelpful TA. The class is great and so much fun but Prianka made me HATE this class.
