Although the class structure is very fluid and at times unclear, some of these reviews are uncalled for. The Professor himself set high standards to challenge students, it was not meant to discourage. In my eyes, the whole purpose of this class was to realize your true potential and actually put your knowledge into practice (you were basically doing consulting work for 10 weeks). If you and your project group were disciplined and created solid deadlines to finish weekly deliverables, this was almost a guaranteed A. Overall, one of the best professors I have had at UCLA and I highly recommend the class if you want some practical skills/experience under your belt!
Professor Aghili has some really cool ideas in Entrepreneurship that can open your mind as a young buisness owner to the realm of possibilities. He had an excellent line up of guest speakers and chose interesting case studies for the class. That being said this guy has some serious little man confidence/short man syndrome issues. He feels the need to slip in little remarks about the cars he drives, shoes he owns, how much he makes, and who he knows in the industry (constant namedropping). But he doesnt realize no one cares, we are all here just to learn. There is no point in flexing on a bunch of college kids and asking them how much they intend to make when they grow up. He belittles people openly in class. Definetely would reccomend taking this class with someone else if you can.
this guy is one of the biggest assholes I have ever encountered while at ucla. I have a laundry list of things he has done that are straight up BS
