BIOENGR 298 is a great course! Professor Chen helps me understand the basic and important concepts of TENG and PENG and other cutting-edge wearable bioelectronics. He is truly concerned with students' learning. Professor Chen is very patient and quick in answering students' questions. He really cares about what we could learn from his class, and this is definitely one of the best classes at UCLA I have ever taken. I really enjoyed attending this class.
Professor Chen is energetic and explains the material well. He is very good at teaching and explaining. His lecturing style was fuelling interest in the subject. Professor Chen was able to answer any question and welcome to class discussion. The course materials were very well developed and included everything that was needed. The lecture slides were also well organized and the lectures were very clearly presented.
This course has one midterm and one final group project. It's an easy course if you can take some time to learn. Professor Chen is a very nice person. He works conscientiously and responsibly. His lecture contents are very useful. He always gives students help and good advice on my learning pathway.

I LOVED THIS CLASS AND LEARNED SO MUCH. Professor Jun Chen and his TAs are absolutely amazing and this was one of the best and most interesting classes I ever had. He is super passionate and his only goal is to help students learn. At first, I thought this is going to be a boring class but I loved learning about his research which is with MEGs and TENGs. He is always willing to work with students and understands if something comes up and is willing to give extensions. His lectures are also very engaging and interesting and all the labs are extremely fun and informative. Overall the workload is very manageable and this is a perfect class to take just to destress from all other BE classes. 100000% would take any of his classes.
