My class was taught by Professor Adelaida E. Rama Luna (both she and Professor Robinson were listed as instructors). She is super nice and a very good lecturer, and if you need extra help she is more than happy to help you. I get socially anxious sometimes so it was really nice to have a professor who gave off very warm energy and made me feel comfortable asking for help.
Class size was pretty small with only 12 students. Grade distribution: 60% 3 essays, 10% online activities, 15% group oral presentation, and 15% 4 quizzes. I was very nervous going into the class because I'm not a great writer, but honestly if you just follow the instructions for the essays you will get a good grade. They also only have to be 2-3 pages long double spaced. The online activities were just answering questions about readings and also grammar practice, and most of the time you get unlimited attempts so it is not too hard to do well in that section. The quizzes were also about the readings and the grammar, and for the first two if you got at least 10/14 right it counted as 100%. The group oral presentation was just to analyze work by any Latin Artist, it only had to be 10 minutes for 3-4 people, and my group was great so it was very fun to do.
Overall the class is pretty chill; I definitely did not put in as much work as I should have but thankfully I still got an A.
