Her course is pretty straight forward. You don't really need to read a whole lot out of the book because her course reader is comprehensive in what you need to know and what she lectures in class. She's interesting to listen to and she's pretty enthusiastic about her lectures. She uses plenty of examples and outside references to help you understand the basics of Auditing.
Here's the catch. Her midterm was impossibly hard. The multiple choice questions were way out of left field and were much more comprehensive in their requirement of understanding than what she does in the reader. It's like, you not only have to know the course reader, but you have to know how it would relate to the real world of public accounting... yet she doesn't do that in class. She gives you how the Payroll cycle works on paper and expects you to analyze how it works in a corprorate office on her midterm. Also, her grading is 50% Midterm, 50% Final and a little consideration for "class participation."
So get chummy with her the first few days so she knows who you are and join SAS cuz that's what her "participation" actually comes from.
The fill ins are pretty straight forward but the multiple choice is a killer. Overall she was enjoyable and pretty effective really. Better than some professors but worse than others.
