A great class overall, for anyone looking to learn more about the often not-mentioned connection between music and the Holocaust. Professor Calico and the TA, Emmie, are very clear in their rubrics about their expectations, and their slide materials/the prof's lectures are engaging. Participation is really important, and you will get a lot more out of the class if you come to lecture in person. There were some cool / informative guest speakers as well. There is a considerable amount of writing in this course, but it is manageable. There was no required textbook, but there were plenty of pre-class assigned readings provided.
