Professor Rudnick makes a complicated subject such as Physics an enjoyable and managable course to take. Physics is definitely one of my weak points, but Rudnick teaches the course in a very concise, effective, and easy way. He is also a funny guy- I mean he won't have you laughing on the ground- but he'll make you chuckle here and there. This guy is definitely not boring- it's hard to fall asleep in his class- there's always something going on (like important concepts!! ..or his demos, which he does almost ever day)... I would take Professor Rudnick if you can. P.S. that picture was definitely about 15+ years ago haha.

I'll skip what everyone else has said and tell you what you want to know. He puts 1 question from the homework directly on the midterm (You can't argue if you miss it or don't understand it - thats fair). That leaves 3 questions for you to answer with the time you have left. The questions will require you to think. Basically, each of the 3 questions will combine concepts and ideas from different problems in the book. e.g. part a of question 1 may ask to see if you understood a concept from problem 6 of the homework and part b of question # 1 will ask to see if you understood a concept from question 22 of the homework (get the idea?). No his exams are not easy, people like him alot, including myself, thats why he got such a low level of difficulty score on his review. However he is not hard either. I would just say that he is less difficult than other professors. UNFORTUNATELY HIS FINAL EXAM IS NOT DOABLE (therefore i can not tell you what to do about that, however i regret studying for the final). Also, for the final you will have 2 problems directly from the homework on the exam so once again, if you get them wrong, you can't argue. Yes I would definetely recommend taking him. Read other comments to find out more. My grade in the class was a "B"

He's one of the best professors I've ever had. He is really concerned about his students' learning. His midterms are REALLY easy. There are 4 problems on the midterm, one of which is directly taken from the homework. In addition, he asks 2 homework problems on the final. He is really nice. On his second midterm he actually started solving one of the problems on the board for us! There is nothing much that anyone can say about him except that he is one of the best and don't miss this class!
