This homie felled at least 1000 acres of the Amazon this quarter alone. He prints out all of his lectures slides and put them in these massive piles at the front of the lecture hall. If you f with that, then this is the guy for you.
Fair warning, some of his instructions / guidelines are p wack, try and get a good TA because you most likely will have questions.
Don't underestimate the midterm either, the material is all rehashing from 14A and 14B, but it has a p low point count, so little mistakes can cost you big time. Otherwise, Pang's a cool dude.
This is the worst class I have ever taken at UCLA. It is only worth 3 units, but seemed like the workload of a 5 unit class. The lectures only cover basics of the class, while the labs and exams expect you to know the material much more in depth. There is a midterm and a final, both are extremely hard. No equation sheet is given. I have spent many nights crying about this class. Many of the concepts in the lab are the same as the concepts taught in Chem 14B, but Pang uses different methods for solving and it is confusingly different from the methods taught in 14B. There is a pre and post lab assignment due every week that will take 2-3 hours to complete each. The final is worth a third of your grade and is impossible. You pretty much can't avoid this class if you are a South Campus major at UCLA, but it sucks.
Selling PDFs of all graded lab reports + midterm. Very neat handwriting + price negotiable! I accept venmo and will email you the reports immediately after payment. Text if interested **********
I also have reports for Chem 14CL taken Spring 2017!
