Although lectures were clear, many homework assignments were tedious calculations. The final was much harder and he is very stringent with his grading. He also does not round nor curve.
Not the hardest class I've taken, but not easy either. I thought the professor explained things really well, and was happy to answer any questions. There was weekly homework taking 4+ hours with varying difficulty from pretty easy to brain-numbing but it is a upper-division math course so that is to be expected. I'm glad the professor didn't make the midterms and finals unnecessarily long during the pandemic. The midterms took about 2~3 hours. The final was a little longer at around 6 hours, but still not terrible. Overall I would take the course with this professor again.
