Professor Trott was an absolutely incredible instructor. I am slightly biased since I am a neuroscience major and he taught the neuroscience section but I think that even if I wasn't passionate about neuroscience I would have been engaged by Dr. Trott's lectures. He was energetic, clearly passionate about both teaching and his research, and had the entire class engaged with his lectures. He also had very well-prepared slides and used them as resources, not just reading off of them. He clearly has vast amounts of knowledge in his subject area and loves to teach it, which translated very clearly to my learning. I hope to take more classes with Prof. Trott in the future.

He was very on top of his material and was always willing to answer questions for students to help us understand the material to the best of his ability. His lectures were presented at a manageable pace and he went in depth into the important topics instead of brushing past some like others have.

Moved a little fast during lecture, but genuinely the most fascinating prof we had in the quarter! You can tell he's passionate about his work, and he was great about encouraging people to tackle hard questions on their own without his help at first. Lectures were awesome and engaging.
