Fall 2024 - If you're looking for an easy GE, I highly recommend this class. Lecture and discussion sections are mandatory, but they are very light and easy going. You don't necessarily have to pay attention to each lecture/discussion to succeed in the class. There are weekly quizzes (not graded, participation grade only) and discussion posts which don't take long to complete. The final is a final project that you present during Week 10. The professor and TA set deadlines and project goals to help you pace your project throughout the quarter so it wasn't too difficult for me to complete. Although the lecture content was interesting, I do wish that Dr. Wagman taught more herself because I would say 90% of the lectures were taught by guest lecturers. It was just so overwhelming and overstimulating at times for a different person to come in and teach using different material every other day, and I was able to learn better when Dr. Wagman taught herself. Otherwise, this class is an easy A and the TAs also make sure you feel supported in the course material.
