REVIEW FOR EDUC 104A: INTRO TO EXCEPTIONAL LEARNERS
Professor Wood was such an amazing and accommodating professor! The class was very low stress where we only had weekly reading reports which were just prompts we answered during lecture and integrated what we read from the textbook. The textbook was a bit long but a quick skim of the chapters should be good enough. The only other assignments we had were discussion participation, a reflection on a documentary we watched called Crip Cramp, and our final paper about any topic about exceptional learners and students with disabilities. I think this class is really interesting, especially if you want to go into special education or want to be a teacher. It is a very practical class where I learned to better accommodate future students with disabilities such as reading and understanding IEPs, etc, and shift my mindset regarding disabilities! The TAs were super kind and amazing and I would say that this class was very easy but interesting at the same time!
