Makes very sexist comments while claiming not to, also doesn't try to get to know his students. The assignment is very dull and not at all enlightening and there is not room for growth. He also pressures students and makes them uncomfortable to speak, and then yells at them for not speaking up. Was my first Fiat Lux but there is no room for creativity and not too much for discussion or collaboration. He's very knowledgeable but not a good instructor.

Class is two hrs every other week and all you have to do for the whole quarter is write one paper 2 pgs long about any poem in a booklet he gives you. Warning, he is very picky and his humor is all intelligent humor. Sarcasm is huge with him. He talks a lot though and usually goes off subject but you don't really have to pay attention to him. I recommend it if you want an easy grade.

Very easy class. The only assignment is a 1-2 pages paper about the poems in the anthology given by the Professor. Overall an enjoyable course and the anthology that was handed out to us was nice to have.
