This class was so easy. Barely ever went to lecture because he just reads off the slides. The weekly quizzes you can use your notes for since its online but I never had to because they were super simple. The midterm and final are 50 multiple choice questions and took me about 20 minutes.

This class was really great. I would definitely recommend this as your life science GE. The professor always had jokes and his classes were super lively. The topics were super engaging. The workload was pretty light. There was just one midterm and a non-cumulative exam, both multiple-choice. There were ten sets of "study questions". I saw them as homework, but our professor didn't like to call it that. You get full credit for getting 50% and above. He was always down for extra credit (super fun and easy). For an extra credit point he made us watch a scene from the Big Bang Theory (my favorite show!) and answer a couple of questions.

Not much work but tests were impossible. Do not take this class thinking it is going to be an easy GE...because it's not. There is a midterm and final, both worth 42.5% and homework (super easy) worth 15% and extra credit. Still though, don't take the class unless you want to be stressed about a GE.

Super easy, fun class. There was one midterm and one final, both were multiple choice. Professor Wong is a great lecturer and posts the slides on CCLE, so even if I had to miss class I never felt like I was falling behind. One tip I would say is to skim the textbook before you go to class, and read over the notes you take in class once a week. I did that, and I only studied for maybe one or two hours for the midterm and final and came out with a decent grade. He does offer extra credit, which is really nice, but you have to come to class to get it. The material was really interesting in my opinion.

Professor Wong teaches and tests directly off of his lecture slides. If you are decent at memorization and want an easy A, take this class! He's a really nice guy and even though the midterm and final are worth nearly 90% of the grade they are straight forward and fair. I only used the textbook for clarification on certain topics. This class didn't take up much of my time and I earned an A. I highly recommend this class to people looking for an easy life science GE or for people who are genuinely interested in psychobiology!

If you are good at memorizing things (good with stuff like bio), you'll do well. All you have to do is remember the lecture slides and go through the Midterm/Final review. I only studied for this class right before the midterm and final and got an A-. Don't buy the textbook unless you want to waste your money lol. I just got an older version online for free and I didn't even use it lol. Take this class, it's not that hard if you like remembering things.

Wong is an excellent lecturer and has a pretty nice sense of humor at times, and definitely kept the class engaged throughout each lecture. Homework is given weekly in the form of online quizzes, but if you get 5 or more right out of 10 on them, you'll get full credit, so don't stress out over them. The midterm and final are very straightforward, and there are comprehensive study guides for them, though the content itself is quite a bit of memorization (though it's not too hard). There were 3% extra credit points given, 2% for quick questions that he handed out in class, and 1% for a majority of the class filling out the evaluation, so even if you don't do spectacularly on the exams, you'll probably still have a solid grade. Oh, and don't buy the book. I got it just in case, forgot to return it when I realized I didn't need it, and never opened it. Still ended up with an A+. Overall, I would definitely recommend taking this class with Wong.

The class was a lot of fun to take! There is no discussion attached with it, and attendance was not mandatory. He gives out two or three extra credit opportunities that you have to be in class for, though. They're usually given near the midterm and final, and they're easy. Each is worth 1pt of extra credit. The midterm and final are both worth a lot and are only multiple choice, so if you study and memorize you should be good. The professor was very nice and friendly, and I'm sure if you were confused on something you could just ask. The homework is super easy and you get several chances to get a perfect score on it and that's worth like 15 percent of your grade, and it's like once a week that you do it. WARNING- if you are not good at memorizing, this is not the class for you!! It is really interesting, but there is a lot you need to know and understand to pass!!!

If you're a north campus major, please please don't take this class. I thought it was going to be relatively manageable, but the midterm and final were super difficult (even when you study lol). Stay away from this class if you're only good at north campus major things!!! Your GPA will thank you.
