It was nice to get to know Schultz in such a small, intimate class. He's a very nice, funny guy. The subject material was very interesting. I personally would've preferred that Schultz lectured more instead of the entire class being a discussion. This class required very little time--there is only one 5-page final paper. There were a lot of readings but as long as you skim them and have a few things to talk about, you're good. The critical analyses are only due every three classes and they're easy. Your grade basically comes down to how well you do on the final paper; I pulled off an A. As long as you're ok with the fact that this class is basically a seminar (not a lecture) and you're interested in learning about queer history, take it!
