loved this class so much. very easy and informative. def take this class as a cog sci major, instead of chem or physics. I really enjoyed the material, learning style, and overall layout of the class structure.
i loved this class! my instructor was jake aziz but the recorded lectures were with harold torrence and i found him to be really engaging and fun. the lectures were definitely long and boring at times but i still enjoyed the content a lot. there were 3-5 lectures a week and a weekly MC homework quiz (5 total, 1 dropped). you could have the quiz open from when it opened to the due date, so it was basically open note and guaranteed perfect scores. there's a 4-6 page analysis paper due at the end of the quarter which i felt i did very shittily on but ended up scoring a 30/31. the final was 59 MC questions on lockdown browser and was fairly tough but still doable. i didn't do a single reading and it didn't seem like i needed to in order to do well on the exam. overall, i enjoyed this class so much and it's been one of my favorite classes at UCLA so far!!
