legitimately the best professor I've ever had during my time at UCLA. Even now, I'm graduating in a completely unrelated field (CS), yet whenever I think of outstanding professors, this guy is the first person that pops in my mind. He's insanely good at teaching, goes above and beyond to help students, and is pretty much a consummate teacher in every regard. The workload of the class was actually difficult though, and I didn't even complete it (or half my other classes I took that quarter when I started struggling with depression), yet the impression he left on me was so strong that I'm still writing this review 4 years later just to gush about it. Absolutely take any class that he's teaching.

THE BEST PROFESSOR IVE EVER HAD!! No joke. I wish this man taught more classes. I would switch majors just to keep taking him as a professor. He actually cares about student learning and his office hours were so helpful. I have heard horror stories about Chem30A and this classes shattered all my expectations. This was the first A in a stem class I ever received and I honestly believe it was because Dr. Sanders was such a fantastic professor (and he had good TAs too). This class was by no means easy, but Professor Sanders made it manageable with all the office hours, extra practice problems and his just generally approachable nature.

One of the BEST professors I have ever had in my life. He did Sunday Office hours, which he came to Ackerman Union and help us with homework and answer questions near Panda. He is a SUPER efficient lecturer and his writing is clear and good. He made sure everyone could hear him and there was no need for reading textbook cuz his notes were way beyond that. I literally never study extra stuff for his tests except for the final, cuz there is no way you could screw up if you do all the problem sets and go to all the discussions. BTW, he posts the answers with the HW problems, and you just need to hand HW in to prove you have done the HW, and it's graded upon completeness. He has two midterms and one final, and he posts several practices before the actual tests. If you do well in those, you're definately heading for an A or A+. The practice tests are VERY similar to the real ones. Would definitely take again!
