Professor
J Marturano
Most Helpful Review
Fall 2017 - Prof. Marturano is a really kind and patient professor who makes the class very engaging. He really emphasizes participation but doesn't necessarily dock off points for it if you don't participate a lot. The best part of this class was definitely checking out the "Cuba Is" exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography where different artists' photos are showcased and one can watch a documentary about the photographers and how Cuba is today. The workload itself is pretty decent - weekly reading responses, 2 short essays, and 1 final essay. As long as you keep up with the readings and invest enough time into your essays, it's pretty easy get a good grade in the class.
