Professor
Ian Krajbich
Most Helpful Review
Spring 2024 - This class wasn't what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Grade consisted of 5 (?) pop quizzes, 2 exams (30%, 35% based on whichever you scored lower on), and homework assignments/problem sets (5 of these I think). The readings weren't technically necessary and I only read up on the later chapters when I was studying for the final. Lecture, on the other hand, is mandatory if you want to do well in the class (no recordings). Prof Krajbich was pretty nice and helpful — people had a lot of questions during lecture and he was definitely very patient in answering all of them. The math wasn't difficult at all, I don't know why people tried to scare me off with it at first — quite literally just plugging numbers into formulas. Final was harder than the midterm even though he said it wouldn't be (haha), but overall the class was great!
