Professor Min was very organized in his class and provided Zoom sessions, class notes, and recordings to review after lectures. The homework load was very reasonable (one submission a week) and usually did not take up that much time. He said that he wanted to raise the overall average of the class after the first midterm and we had quite an easy midterm 2 and final. Just do the homework, study before the exams and you should be fine. I'm really glad that I had Professor Min for 31B!
I took Min as a freshman in Fall 2023. He is an awesome professor. He is able to quickly understand your questions and give clear and helpful answers. He also clearly wants his students to succeed. He gave us extra credits just for completing a survey and he made the finals very light to increase our average.
Material is not easy, but professor Min makes it feel more digestible. My TA was also very helpful. Professor office hours were a bit crowded, but if you stay long enough then you can still get questions answered. Tests were very reasonable. Make sure to do the hw and review class lecture example problems before tests. Final was easier than the midterms.
