Winter 2021 - Professor Lu is a fantastic professor who cares deeply about students. Mary, our TA, was probably the best TA I have had in my two years at UCLA. She's super caring and goes out of her way to make sure that students understand what is being asked for. The class seems like it's a lot of work at first but it's very doable and you have plenty of resources to work with. The most stress I had was during week 4 when we had a Psychopy project due alongside a demonstration paper but even that was not too much. 121 is basically 100B with the exception of some basic coding. 60% of your grade comes from a group paper that you do at the end of the quarter just like in 100B. Just make sure to play your part and you'll be fine!

Fall 2016 - Definitely a great class to take. Enjoyed the material. Your grade is basically decided upon three homework (totaling 60%), and the final group project. Go to the TA office hours and you will do well on the homework! Learned so much, but I felt the Professor went too fast on some materials, but as there are no exams, you do not have to know everything. Just do well on the homework and you will be well off in the class.
