Brix as a professor is great. He's clear in his lectures and organized. Climate change on the other hand, is not the most interesting topic. It's not exceptionally difficult, but I would say it requires some studying for the midterm and final. Yes, cheat sheets are provided, but Brix tests on the application of concepts not just pure definitions, so don't underestimate the midterm and final. The homework for the class and for the lab sections weren't too difficult, but I found myself misinterpreting questions several times. Definitely team up with a friend or go to your TA's office hours if you're confused because its not worth losing easy points on. An A is definitely possible, just put some effort into the assignments and study before the tests.

he really wants everyone to get an A for this class. But I ended up getting a B+, but i had never studied for A&O1, but even the final. I copied down the notes from his lecture slides.... I will take him again if I have a chance. Nice prof
