I took French 8 with Gina and Ellias as my professors and they were amazing! Gina learned French so she understands the exact struggles we have while learning French. Ellias is a native speaker so he helps on pronunciation. They're understanding on your pace and as long as you put effort into the course and show you really want to understand the material, then learning French will actually be fun.
Best French professor I've ever had and she teaches you a lot! She is very nice and helpful! She also only speaks in French so that you become better speakers and listeners and will change to English if you still don't understand, which was exactly what I wanted.
Regarding the material and course difficulty, as long as you put in the work and do the practice problems and review the book, you should succeed.
The one drawback for me was that I spent a lot on the textbook and never even opened it since I used the online book code instead but if anyone is interested in buying an unopened sealed textbook without the online code, which is very cheap and easy to purchase online, email me!

Gina is awesome! The best French teacher I've ever had. Participation in her class is so easy to fulfill, because she's so engaging and bright. Her organization is clear and effective, though she does assign plenty of homework. Her tests are fair, and her hair is even fairer. I definitely recommend her!
