A decent professor who does a good job at getting the point of the material across, through examples and by answering any questions students have.

He sometimes did in class quizzes which were really just "are you paying attention?" type quizzes, but they helped reinforce what we were learning. He is very reasonable about due dates of homework and in grading exams - one midterm there wasn't enough time for, the other was really easy, and the final was probably a little long as everyone stayed the entire 3 hours.

The only annoying part of the class was that there really wasn't one single book that contained everything we needed. A good course reader would have been useful, though he does post lecture notes online. All in all, Professor Igo is great for upper div physics, so don't be afraid to take him for that.
