It is a shame that UCLA does not have as many professors as Tanaka. I have never had a professor that cares so much about his students' learning and is so passionate about what he does. I am fortunate to have had him his last quarter teaching here now that we lost him to Mills College :/ Nonetheless I wish him the best and hopefully we find more professors like him
