He knows what he's talking about, but that doesn't mean his students do! His exams are difficult and many of the questions seem designed to trick and/or confuse the student. In the review sessions before the midterms and final, he claims that you do not need to know specific numbers and that a broad understanding of the basic material will get you very far. NOT TRUE! You do need to know specifics. Study much harder than you think you need to, for Prof Coroniti makes the course appear easy, when it certainly is not. Don't take this expecting a fly-by GE, you have to work for your grade if you want anything close to an A. I resent the guy for tricking us on the exams... it didn't test our knowledge of astronomy, it tested how well we could read his mind.
coroniti knows his stuff. the man lectures without any lecture notes and goes on for 50 minutes without having to think of what to say next. he may crack jokes about his age in lecture but his mind seems to be functioning above average 100% of the time. beware...the class is NOT as easy as it seems. the two mid-terms were extremely difficult and some of the questions were unfair...after many complaints professor coroniti did not try to fail students...but listened to the complaints and adjusted his questions so that the questions did not trick you (although that was definitely not his intention). professor walkers final compensated for his dificult mid-terms. i suggest coroniti to anyone who needs to satisfy a g.e. take him...he knows his stuff!
