Very disciplined and prepared professor. Knows his material.
Wish he curved the class because I feel like I understood the material well but got the average scores on tests which still ended up as a B- which is annoying.
TAs are awesome. Go to discussion.
Good job at organizing the class schedule. Can be a bit boring sometimes and hard to follow along because the concepts can get complex but overall interesting. Rosner is a good professor for sure. I would take another class with him. Just wish the grading was better.
Homework was good in making us understand the concepts actually and not just wasting our time.

I took this class online so lectures were recorded and notes were posted, but Rosner's lectures themselves were oftentimes confusing and having him attempt to clarify my confusions often left me still confused. His handwriting is a struggle to read and his lectures go by quite rapidly. The gradebook is split into 40% homework and 60% final exam, with each homework assignment having two submissions: one for completion and one for correctness. He is very strict on units, significant figures, showing intermediate steps, and homework format, which can cause you to lose easy points. Even though he says he won't curve, he ended up lowering the total points and giving back additional points. The homework and final were mad difficult with the class average for the final being 62% after the curve. You are allowed to bring three cheat sheets into the final and he gives you a practice exam. Study the homework and review your notes to best prepare for the final.

Rosner is kind of chill. He doesn't curve the test which is kinda booty but he does lower the grade range. I got a 82 and that was a B+. He has one midterm, one final, and homework. Homework is kind of chill until you miss one thing and lose half your grade all of a sudden :(. He does this thing where you do the homework and if you make it look like you tried, you will receive full credit. But you have to submit it again with the correct answer the following week (he gives you answer key). His lectures are straightforward. I liked how he made steps to solve the problems he gives, but the lectures were quite boring I would find myself playing clash royale to pass the time. He doesn't record, but posts notes, however his handwriting is also kinda booty. He writes in cursive which is odd for an engineer. Go to discussion people. The TA's were so clutch this quarter. The professor lets you take 3 cheat sheets for both exams and the TA's give so much helpful information. Overall though I think it's fine to take this class with him. I honestly liked doing statics and strength so take that into account when reading this review.
