Johanna (it says Eva but it's Johanna) Karlsson is the BOMB. A very sweet teacher and a very enjoyable class. I'm currently taking SCAND 3 with her and I've taken this class and SCAND 1 with her prior to this quarter.
Swedish is not a very commonly spoken language so taking it is also an uncommon thing. That being said, about half the class comes with prior Swedish knowledge either from home or studying abroad, which helps tremendously. I didn't have either of those and because I had taken on a heavy course load and am taking this as a foreign language requirement (rather than for a major or minor), I ended up just taking it P/NP hence the PASS instead of a grade.
Johanna is extremely helpful and her classes are on Zoom because she currently lives in Lund, Sweden. A very cool perk while learning Swedish in my opinion. Participation is a large percentage of points and if you do the workbook and the little homework she assigns. TAKE SWEDISH!!!
