Kudos to Sussman, who not only makes accounting interesting, but entertaining. This is a class that anyone can take, not just "quant jocks." The focus is on learning how to analyze financial statements and read between the lines. Even if you'll never work in finance, it's a good way to learn about your own investments... but don't be late to class, or you'll have to bring food for everyone. Word to the wise - Sussman is usually a funny, happy guy, but if you come to class unprepared, be ready to get chewed out. Overall, this is a great class - reasonable workload (a mix of individual and group work), engaging, and definitely useful.
