I'm not sure how easy this class would be in person, but online it was almost a joke. There was never a need to remember or memorize things and it bites you in the ass when you have to use all of these topics in later management courses. If you're gonna take her, don't slack off like that
Professor Woo is amazing. She is clear, concise, and builds upon what we learn in 1A, tying everything in very well. The quizzes are a fair assessment and the project is clear and fair. The entire grading is based off of the project and 3 quizzes and there is no midterm or final. Highly recommend!
I love that she uploaded all of the class material at the very beginning so you could work at your own pace. The quizzes didn't leave you much time to check work, but there was enough time to finish if you worked quickly and were aware of your time. The major assignment was shorter than the one in 1A which was nice.
The entire class is asynchronous, and all the lectures are posted before the class started. It was really nice because you can basically work on your own pace. The lectures are short and concise and don't usually take long, which is great! Homework and textbook are optional, but they are really helpful and mimic the quiz problems. Speaking of quizzes, the class doesn't have midterms and finals (only during covid times), and we only had three quizzes and each one was 20 questions. We also had one big assignment on statement of cash flow, again pretty easy. The class overall was super engaging and professor Woo definitely made accounting fun to learn!
