Quarter: Fall 2016
Grade: A

The course is fun but a challenge, it's doable. The cluster is taught by professors from the subjects: sciences but also humanities. It was a lot of fun. Make sure to form a study group, they help a lot. It's a good intro to life here at UCLA.

I am selling the course textbooks for cheap; the price is negotiable. text me at **********

Love this cluster overall, but prof Kristal's slides about King lear pulled specific slides and scenes to talk about. They were difficult to comprehend / understand what exactly he wanted us to learn. He was passionate and willing to help explain tho if you wanted extra clarification, but during lecture he was confusing

professor kristal teaches the literature part of cluster 73a. he's very friendly and passionate but his lectures are dry and hard to follow. the literature part on tests is very easy. overall this class is an easy A

Great professor. I think really liked his literature section of the cluster, it shows how a mostly south campus subject (neuroscience) can be related to a north campus subject (literature). Overall you only need one book for his section of the class and it’s pretty cheap. Very helpful and willing to discuss the literature more in depth. The only reason I got a B instead of an A was probably due to the neuroscience and anatomy subjects on the exams.

Professor Kristal is truly passionate and enthusiastic about what he teaches. Really cares whether his students understand or not. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely would take again.
