Prof. Parson was not the most effective nor coherent although he did try. The class started out slow and felt rushed by the time we got to the last subject. Pacing was off from the get-go. He had to cancel and made up a few classes on fast-track mode; however, he missed important details that were later tested on the exam!

Dr. Parson is obviously new to law school teaching! Suggest thatwp he pay attention to class format and scheduling so he can be better organized next time!

The professor was a subjective and biased grader. When I compared my exam answers with a colleague's, Dr. Parson gave credit to some of my colleague's answers, which were the same as mine, while deducting points from my answers. Lectures were extremely disorganized. Finally, his approach to address student concerns was unsatisfactory. Stay away from this course and this professor. He does not even have his JD degree. Suggestions to the department: find a real environmental law professor who has a law degree.
