Professor Neuen is extremely talented as a conductor and has proven to be so through his choir and orchestra performances. However, his action to humiliate, disrespect, and demean his students is his biggest downfall. This says a lot about someone's character and their values. I understand that he values performance but if you cannot value your students as individuals then you have failed to the morals of your profession. He forgets that as a UCLA professor there are certain UCLA values that he needs to abide by. Respecting students is not an option, it is a right to each and every one of you as a human being.
