(selling my textbook, https://www.ebay.com/itm/**********31?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-**********-0&ssspo=FtTKCQxASBW&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=x6xs5qayqga&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY)
Took this class over the summer, online, and remote!
The biggest thing I loved about this class was that the tests and homework were all open note, textbook, and internet. It made learning much less stressful (which was the professor's intention), and made it easier to focus on what you were actually interested in. Though the test is open-everything, you would still need to have a basic understanding of the knowledge and put some effort into the tests as not all the questions have upfront answers.
You will definitely need the textbook, much of the test questions were pulled from the book and not covered in class. There is a decent amount of reading (but this was because the 10 week class was condensed into 6 weeks) but it is very manageable if you are responsible. Mr. Murphy is very helpful and responds to emails pretty quickly and is always ready to set up a Zoom call to discuss any questions or concerns.
Overall, (and he said this too): there's no reason not to get an A in the class unless you're forgetting to submit assignments or don't put any effort into the tests. Would take this class again!
