I really liked Devito as a professor. His lectures are very straightforward and the information is straight from the textbook. They aren't recorded but the slides are posted. There are 3 non-cumulative exams worth 33% each and you get one double-sided cheat sheet for each. They have true or false questions and multiple choice questions. His exams are very straightforward. He doesn't offer any practice exams and offers solutions to every practice question in the book so it's hard to know exactly what he will ask. There is also an extra credit budget project offered. Your grade is based on a curve with a certain point system. As a professor, Devito is very personable and wants his students to succeed! Would definitely recommend this class with him.

I really enjoyed this classes and professor Devito. The lectures are interesting and engaging. The exams are based on the slides and textbook readings. The exams are a bit hard to study for, as you don't get a lot of conceptual practice problems. You should definitely be able to end with at least a B in this class. I would recommend the class and the professor.
