Professor Blanco is a very nice guy. He is genuinely concerned about students doing well in his class. The class was graded as follows, one mid-term, one final at 45% each, and 10% for discussion. The class was graded very fairly. I think that the tests were fair. Basically it's one of those classes where you need to understand the slides, there is no outside reading unless you wanna get background information. The tests requires some application, but if you understand the main concepts that are presented in the slides, then you should be fine. One downfall is that Dr. Blanco talks very fast during lecture, so its difficult to get down everything he says, a lot of people recorded the lectures.
