Okay... I feel bad because Professor Cline seems like a nice guy and he has SO much knowledge but that's what makes this class terrible. I'm sure he's alright for physics majors and upper division physics classes but he knows way too much to be teaching an intro physics class intended for non-science majors. He just reads off of photocopies of the pages of the book pretty much, and talks about a lot of things that will go way over your head, making the class hard to get through. The multiple choice exams were not too bad though. Just make sure you have an alright TA!

If you want a really easy class where you learn PRACTICALLY NOTHING take this one. You will feel it is a complete waste of your time. Lectures are disorganized, no slides or anything. He literally just prints overheads of the textbook and reads them to us. At least I got an A+.

Absolutely cannot read his handwriting or hear what he is saying so there is no point in taking notes. He doesn't use powerpoint or the board, but instead writes on an overhead projector that is extremely difficult to see. . Learn everything from the book if you take this class.

The lecture is just him talking non-stopingly with a low volumn of voice. The class is for non-major people but there are just too much information to memorize. There is no homework for the class and the grade is composed of 2 midterms and 1 final. I went to the first few lectures but couldn't stand his lecture style.

He is one of those professors who will lecture for the whole amount of class time almost non-stop. Sometimes I found it very difficult to concentrate. He lectures straight out of the book. He literally prints out the pages from the textbook and projects them and reads the text. So if you wanted to just read the book and take the test, you'd probably do just fine. The only topic that he lectured on that's not in the book is the lecture on the Higgs Boson. Also, discussion is a complete waste of your time. Don't even bother going.
