She is a really chill teacher. Her homework assignments are straight from the notes she gives you in class. She goes over them before you turn them in. Her exams are not that hard there are exactly like the homework assignments. Very nice teacher I enjoyed being in her class!

The professor was very approachable. I think the class was pretty easy if you actually paid attention in class. The lectures aren't boring and she's very lenient on the due dates for the projects. Her homework assignments are almost identical to the exams so just make sure you do the assignments on your own and get them right. The negative reviews below are misleading- as you can see from the grade distributions, she gives out very few low grades. I would def. recommend her class.

Prof. Parodi seems really sweet and cool, but let's be honest, linguistics is just boring. I studied a LOT for this class and worked really hard on the final project but only managed a B+. The amount of memorization necessary for this class rivals the trigonometry department down on south campus, and she is totally unforgiving for minor mistakes on the tests.
