Nice professor, very knowledgable and made learning about Shakespeare fun. I really appreciated her many options for paper topic prompts and thoughtful comments on essays. Grading seemed appropriate, if you put in the required amount of effort and pay attention to what the prompt is asking for she will definitely acknowledge that. The midterm was pretty difficult in that you had to respond to 5 short answer essay questions (responses were supposed to be a page each) in under two hours. I think three questions would have been a more appropriate ask with the amount of time that we were given. She prefers students to write notes by hand but talks pretty fast so I recommend typing your notes if you want to stay on top of everything. Overall a great class, if you're looking to fulfill your historical requirements I recommend taking Professor McEachern!
